HERstory is one of how a daughter of a North Carolina pastor rose to become the Eighty-Third Attorney General of the United States of America. Former Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch will be featured in the upcoming edition of the Baptist Informer.
The Baptist Informer returns to circulation in December 2020. In a new layout and format, the Baptist Informer is now a newsmagazine. This format allows for more focused articles and information on issues that we face as African American Baptist in North Carolina. Ensuring expansive thought and practical information, the Informer will publish on a bi-monthly schedule:
-December/January
-February/March
-April/May
-June/July
-August/September
-October/November
Each edition will also have a thematic focus. This upcoming edition centers on the Age of Social Justice and Social Change. AG Lynch, in her video call with Informer Editor Mrs. Ophelia Johnson, shares a message for the youth, adults, and Christian church.
The cost of the Informer is $30.00 for the full year. You can subscribe by mailing a check/money order or by calling the Baptist Headquarters.
